About me

I am a Broadcast Engineer for many live productions in Canada including the NHL, CFL, Curling, and other events broadcasting on Canadian Television Networks Rogers, Bell, CBC, and many American Television Networks as well.

In September of 2007, I began volunteering at WCGtv in Brandon, Manitoba. During my time there, I got to experience all facets of broadcast production, starting with cameras, graphics, and audio, and eventually directing. In 2011, they hired me as a Mobile Production Assistant, while I was in the Media Production program at Assiniboine Community College.

After graduating in 2013, I moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba and began working as Master Control Operator for Shaw TV.  A few years later, in 2016, I was promoted to a Broadcast Technician.

My primary job right now is with Dome Productions as a Broadcast Engineer.  This is a position I had been dreaming about since 2013 when I started freelancing for them. I have been able to work on large scale productions that reach a national and sometimes international audience. I love working on live events as they have their unique challenges working against the clock and being a part of a team with the opportunity for our work to be seen by people all over the world.

In my spare time I enjoy curling, golfing, smart home products, and researching new technologies.

I am currently available for freelance and contract work, please fell free to contact me!
